Global Tastes, Local Plates: Sharon Speaks at Fine Food Australia 2025

At Marketing Bee, we’ve always believed that food is more than just sustenance; it’s a language of culture, identity, and connection. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that our CEO, Sharon Latour, will be speaking at this year’s Fine Food Australia, the country’s leading trade event for the food industry. Sharon will build on her story as a migrant to share this platform with another migrant foodstar.

A Seat at the Global Table – Sharon Speaks

On Thursday, 11th September, from 10:45 am to 11:30 am, Sharon will be joining a powerful panel for a thought-provoking session titled, Global Tastes, Local Plates: The Rise of Multicultural Dining

In this session, Sharon will delve into how migration, travel, and the digital age are transforming the global food scene. With international cuisines now influencing everything from local takeaways to high-end dining experiences, the panel will explore:

  • How multiculturalism is reshaping Australia’s dining landscape
  • The delicate balance between authenticity and innovation in global cuisine
  • The role of food trends in creating cross-cultural connections
  • What these shifts mean for food marketing and the broader industry

This isn’t just a talk; it’s a cultural conversation.

Joined by Ade from Little Lagos

Sharon will be sharing the stage with Ade Adeniji, the founder of Little Lagos, a standout Nigerian restaurant in Melbourne’s Fitzroy. Little Lagos is known for bringing the vibrant tastes of West Africa to Australia in a way that’s both true to its roots and accessible to new audiences.

Ade’s journey, rooted in culture, community, and culinary pride, adds a powerful layer to the discussion. Together, Sharon and Ade will unpack the impact of storytelling, brand authenticity, and the marketing of multicultural food in an ever-evolving digital world.

Food as Culture, Marketing as Meaning

As Sharon often says, “We’re not just talking about food marketing anymore; we’re shaping conversations around culture, flavour, and how food connects us all.” At Marketing Bee, we understand that the modern food consumer isn’t just buying a dish; they’re buying into a narrative, a heritage, and a sensory experience.

In a country as richly diverse as Australia, these conversations are not only timely; they’re essential.

We wish the food industry a great event!
